While twist throttle’s are helpful in that you’re able to maintain a full grip on the handlebars at all times, they can pose a bit of a problem if you come off the bike. Brett Turcotte experienced this firsthand during the Snow Bike Best Trick competition at Winter X Games, but we’re pretty sure this crash didn’t phase him. Turcotte had limited time on the bike coming into Winter X and by this point, had already earned two Gold medals in other events.
