the first apex is as good as the last apex, yamaha has succeeded in making a great sled in the apex and the gt just adds all the goodies. The sled is fast, handles well, and gets great mileage. I was looking for my 1st snowmobile at age 54 and was told the Yamaha 4 stroke engines were top notch for performance trail riding and reliability.
