Snowmobile freestyler Darryl Tait badly injured
Serious injuries suffered after back flip goes awry
Canadian freestyle snowmobiler Darryl Tait failed to complete a back flip at a competition on Oct. 11 and has suffered serious injuries.
Tait was competing at the New Hampshire Grass Drags and Watercrossing competition in Fremont, N.H. when the accident occurred.
Tait is believed to have suffered a severed spine, but he has yet to undergo surgery due to complications from other injuries.
Several fundraisers are being planned to help pay for Tait’s care. A Facebook group and a Web site have been created that contain some fundraising details and Tait’s address at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
