Ross Martin championship sled up for raffle
Polaris donates sled to C.J. Ramstad Snowmobile Trail Fund
If you’ve ever wanted to own the same high-powered sled as a top pro snocross racer, Polaris Industries Inc. of Medina, Minn. is giving you the chance.
Polaris is giving snocross fans the opportunity to win the 440 IQ race sled that Ross Martin used to win two championships in 2005.
The snowmobile will be raffled off at Hay Days on Sept. 6-7 in Lino Lakes, Minn. The raffle will continue on Sept. 8 at the second annual C.J. Ramstad Memorial Golf Classic. All proceeds will benefit the fund set up in honor the man known as ‘Mr. Snowmobiling’.
C.J. Ramstad was a long-time snowmobile journalist and photographer. He and his 17-year-old son J.J. were killed in an automobile crash in May 2007. The C.J. Ramstad Snowmobile Trail Fund is dedicated to preserving, supporting and expanding the sport of snowmobiling.
The winner of the sled does not need to be present at the time of the draw to win, but will be notified afterwards. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the ISOC Racing booth at Hay Days on the west side of the demo track.
