Polaris offers riders weather and trail information

Polaris Industries, in partnership with WeatherNation, has recently launched a new tool that could prove invaluable for snowmobile riders across the United States.

By visiting riders.polarisindustries.com, users have access to a weather map with current weather information. Of most value to snowmobilers, however, is the ability overlay the map with snowmobile trails and to see estimated snow depth anywhere along the trail.

Snowmobilers can use the map to build a route map, complete with multiple waypoints. You can even use the map to find Polaris dealers along the way.

The tool also allows users to see the length of each snowmobile trail and a three-day weather forecast. Additionally, you can find out the expected times for sunrise and sunset.

To access the some features users will have to sign in, but everything is entirely free.
