Shock hazards leads to recall
The Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Polaris Industries Inc., has recalled 2009 Polaris WideTrak snowmobiles with engine block and battery heaters.
According to the recall notice, the insulation of the electrical cord for the engine and battery heaters can fail during cold temperatures, posing an electric shock hazard to consumers.
