The AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series made its way to Fargo, ND for rounds three and four of the series this past weekend. While Tim Tremblay and Tucker Hibbert each won a round in Fargo, Kody Kamm was the only racer to pick up to podium finishes and now sits in a tie for the points lead with Hibbert.

Pro Open #1

Friday’s Pro Open final saw 15 sleds packed onto a tight track. Rookie Ryan Springer (Polaris) got off to a quick start and grabbed the Stud Boy Holeshot. Springer held onto the lead until Tremblay (Ski-Doo) tracked him down on lap 12 and made the pass for the lead.

With a not so friendly starting position, Hibbert (Arctic Cat) got pushed to the outside and was forced to try and avoid the upcoming carnage that saw Logan Christian (Arctic Cat) get ejected from the track in the first turn. Hibbert charged his way from ninth for fourth before running out of laps

Tremblay ended up taking the checkers with a 5.5-second cushion over Adam Renheim (Polaris). Kamm crossed the finish line in third place, followed by Hibbert in fourth. Lincoln Lemieux (Ski-Doo) and Petter Narsa (Polaris) battled hard for much of the race and finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

Saturday’s Pro Open started with Cody Thomsen (Arctic Cat) and Trevor Leighton (Polaris) fighting for the Stud Boy Holeshot, which was eventually taken by Thomsen. The two battled bar-to-bar down the rhythm section when they made contact in mid-air, sending both riders for a tumble.

Tucker Hibbert capitalized on the accident and moved into the lead, which he built up to nearly 10 seconds by the halfway point of the race.

Kody Kamm worked hard to catch the multi-time champion. Despite his efforts, he couldn’t make up and ground and crossed the finish line in second place, followed by Lincoln Lemieux. Kyle Pallin just missed out on the podium with a fourth-place finish, followed by Tim Tremblay in fifth and Logan Christian in sixth.

The AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series returns Jan. 8-9, 2016 with the Pirteckk Snocross Nationals in Shakopee, Minn.
