Video Game Review: Snowmobile Race

Sometimes the Internet giveth and sometimes the Internet taketh away. In the case of the free browser-based game Snowmobile Race, it most certainly tooketh away…my time.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a good snowmobile fix so I decided to snoop around for some off-season fun on my trusty laptop. Before long I stumbled across a link for a snowmobile game and I quickly clicked.

I’d liken the game to a plain baked potato…it will fill you up, but you’re not really getting anything out of it. I completed the 10 levels in about 10 minutes, so it certainly kept me occupied, but it was just too easy to be considered time well spent. You use the four arrow keys as your controls, but you really just need the up arrow to get the job done. I probably could have finished it in half the time, but I kept trying to find a way to do a back flip. Of course, I was unsuccessful.
