ACSS Eastern Nationals Postponed Due to Weather Conditions

The snow just isn’t falling much this year and the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) is suffering because of it. The Vision Kia Eastern Nationals in Farmington, NY, scheduled for Feb. 3-4, 2012, have been rescheduled for Feb. 24-25, 2012. The event was initially cancelled before the ACSS announced a new date.

“We had prepared ahead of time with plenty of snow, but Mother Nature has not been kind,” the ACSS said after the initial cancellation. “Because of rain and warm temperatures, the snow has taken a hit and the decision has been made not to run this event.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have done everything possible to fulfill our obligations to our sponsors, our racers and our fans alike, but unfortunately, we cannot control the weather and it just isn’t possible. All entries will be refunded.”
