Video Game Preview – X Games SnoCross

Just in time for Winter X Games 14, ESPN and 2XL bring you X Games SnoCross.

Billed as “the ultimate snowmobile racing and freestyle experience for your iPhone and iPod touch,” X Games SnoCross aims to bring you as close to the action as possible.

Let loose with your inner Tucker Hibbert or Levi LaVallee on one of six snocross race tracks and two freestyle tracks. You can ride and compete on courses based on the Winter X Games 14 snocross and freestyle competitions.

We haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but the trailer (available after the jump) looks damned impressive. Up to five users can race against each other via Wi-Fi using the eight preset control schemes, including Responsive Tilt Steering.

The game features multiple camera views and to enhance your listening pleasure you can have your own music serve as the soundtrack while you play. Additionally, you can catch the latest scores and sports news from ESPN as it scrolls across the bottom of your screen.

X Games SnoCross costs $4.99 and is available in the Apple App Store.
